2006 Team That Makes a Difference

The 2006 MAMLE Teams that make a difference award was given to North Pontotoc Middle School. The members are made up of eighth grade teachers. They are Ann Adams- Science, Michael Lander- English, Martha Jackson- Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I, Justin Varnon- US History, Mindi Stout- Computer Discovery (Team Leader), Julie Holcomb- Gifted and Talented and Jane East- Student Services.

The accomplishments that illuminate this team go beyond the expected performance. A great team not only works well together for the empowerment of students but can transpose its position and allow the students to become the instructor for self empowerment. Under this team's leadership students acknowledge and spotlight each other, sponsor organizations in the communities, and take an active approach in their education. MAMLE congratulates North Pontotoc Middle School.
